Not Pizza, But a Close Second…

Established at the start of 2023, Papa Jawns Vintage is a second hand clothing business that I started because of my deep love for streetwear clothing, skateboarding and hip-hop culture. Prior to the business, I began my journey in vintage clothing working for two of the most prestigious vintage shops in the south, Old News Vintage & Far Reach Vintage.

This is where I began learning how to operate a business professionally, creating eye-catching social media content, curating clothing pieces, as well as sales when working in the retail world. Through my experience, I was able to take what I learned and apply it to the up and coming market in Savannah, Georgia. Here I have found success in bringing customers a positive in-person shopping experience with creating and organizing my own vintage markets and pop-up shops around the city. As well as creating a strong brand image and following through Instagram, creating engaging content such as, research posts, curated items, outfit videos and, story sales.

Now over a year officially running the business, I have been able to expand my knowledge within the 2nd hand clothing world, find the best resources for sourcing clothing, refine my skills in curating, practice styling, as well as trend forecasting and predictions to stay ahead of the curve.
